Art For Your Heart
I am a keeper of things. Plagued by thoughts of "what if I need this someday?", I have orange string given to me by my aunt when I was eight. I haven't needed it yet, but someday I'm sure I will. That said, for years I have kept the bits of aluminum that remain when I frame my paintings. One glorious trip to the hardware store yielded the discovery of a hand riveter and voila, MetalHeads were born.
Each MetalHead is hand cut and colored. I stamp the title of each piece onto copper or aluminum and affix it to the variety of found objects that decorate the pieces and act as their frame. Each one is designed as a 3-D piece suitable for hanging.
No two MetalHeads are alike!
Sizes on all the Metal Heads vary depending on the found object that they are mounted on. Most of the MetalHeads are approximately 8-10" x 7-9". If you are interested in purchasing a MetalHead please visit our Etsy shop.
